HRBP Master Classes

HR and OD Business Partnering has it’s own set of unique challenges. Since 2015 we have run the HR Business Partner Summit and in 2018 started the OD (re) Design Conference to discuss specific OD challenges.

Now our virtual and online Master Classes are designed to build your skills in being a high performance HR or OD business partner. They are a compliment to our Certificate in OR and Certificate HR Business Partnering which focus on building your technical knowledge. These focus on the soft skills around these areas.

As always with elephant workshops, we focus on outcomes so you leave with practical tools, techniques and real life learnings to use on the job. Check out the details of the Master Classes below and scroll down to register.

Master Class 1: Coaching Senior Leaders

For both HR and OD professionals.

Performance Coaching: Our guest presenter, bestselling author and coach Kathryn Jackson, is going to take you on a journey of discovery through how the coaching continuum works, how to adjust your coaching for different audiences (including senior leaders and challenging CEO’s!), how to use coaching for developing managers including the GROW model, and ways to create a coaching culture with your senior leaders so they role model coaching to their next level managers.

Developing your leaders strategic skills: then Nikki Peck from the Elephant team will take you through how to focus on developing problem solving and decision making for more complex issues with hidden root causes. You can use these skills yourself but also how to help your leaders develop their own skills to start making smart decisions.

Engaging your managers – In this first section you’ll learn some amazing practical tools and techniques, from the sales and marketing world that we believe every OD and HR Business Partner should know. Use them to engage managers and people leaders to be HR’s delivery arm. With guest presenter Rachel Klaver from Identify Marketing.

Design Thinking: Next uncover how you can use Design Thinking principles to change how design and deliver your HR initiatives. You’ll get some new ideas on how to develop ideas that really work so your HR programmes are successful and effective.

Rachel Klaver, CEO, Identify Marketing

Rachel Klaver is CEO (Chief Excitement Officer) at Identify Marketing. She believes the sales and marketing team are either
the biggest reflectors of what is already going on in your business, or the biggest
proclaimers of highlighting what is not. They speak the voice of your business to other businesses, creating a tone, culture and experience that
leads people to understand how your company works and operates. So how can we take
sales and marketing techniques to tell that story to our own people?
Rachel shares tips for using effective sales and marketing techniques to engage your managers with HR and really get your message accross.

Getting Agile and Building Resilience (online module) – In this Master Class you’ll cover tools and techniques to help you both develop your own resilience to deal with a VUCA world, but also to help grow this in your managers and your business. With guest presenter Maya Nova.
